Georgia Governor Brian Kemp made a campaign stop in Statesboro on Friday morning, April 15, 2022. A large crowd gathered to greet the Governor, his wife Marty and daughter Lucy at Anderson's General Store. This was also the location of his visit in 2018 when he was running for his first term as Governor.

Senator Billy Hickman introduced Governor Kemp and thanked him for all of his leadership and commitment to Statesboro and Bulloch County.
Bulloch County Sheriff Noel Brown led the pledge of allegiance and Mike Anderson opened with prayer.
Governor Kemp recognized many in the audience who have been very supportive of him and his campaigns. He went over a long list of accomplishments he has achieved as Governor including guiding our state through the pandemic.
