On Friday, April 22, 2022 at 2:52 pm Bulloch County 911 dispatched Bulloch and Statesboro Fire Departments to a house fire in Brooklet. The house was located on Highway 80 East outside of Brooklet.
The home was not occupied and the fire started from a neighbor who burning off his yard and the fire got out of control and caught the house on fire.
The home sustained heavy damage from the fire.
Multiple engines, tankers and firefighters responded an battled the fire.
There were no reports of injuries.
