Bulloch VOAD and other non profit agencies are coming together to help feed others and meet the food insecurity needs during this time of uncertainty. The first distribution was on Monday through Christian Social Ministries .

These are important updates from Bulloch County Schools Schools Closed at least through April 10 Bulloch County Schools will observe its scheduled spring break April 6-10. These dates will not be used as make up days for missed school days.

Bulloch County Schools will deliver bags of free meals to 30 locations on weekdays (Monday – Friday) March 17 – 27. The program will provide free grab and go breakfast and lunch meals to any child ages 0 to 18.

About an hour after Governor Brian Kemp held a press conference on Thursday afternoon in which he encouraged all educational facilities and daycare’s to review their current situation and consider closing for two weeks, the Board of Regents announced

William James Mid dle School’s special education classes have partnered with Bitty and Beau’s Coffee and opened the Knightly Cafe for faculty and the public earlier this year. In addition to coffee, they offer lunch and dessert or snack options.

Updated 3/4/20 – 9:00 pm: Bulloch County Schools will be open on Friday, March 5th. Due to the excessive rainfall the school system has suspended school bus services to certain dirt roads for Friday.

Georgia Southern University has hired Mississippi State University’s Jared Benko as Eagle Nation’s new director of athletics.

The Julia P. Bryant Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is hosting their annual Spring Fling on Friday, March 6th from 5:30pm-8:30pm at Julia P. Bryant Elementary School.
