Bulloch County Public Schools return to class Monday, August 2nd for all public schools and for all grade levels PK-12.
Hayley Greene, Bulloch County Schools public relations director put together these helpful tips and information to help make the first day back successful.
Be sure to leave plenty of time to arrive at school on time as traffic will be extremely heavy the first week of school. Many children who are normally bus riders, may be car riders the first day of school. Expect traffic delays.
For bus riders, expect bus route delays the first week. For bus inquiries, contact our Transportation Department at 912.212.8640.
All children may eat for free for the entire school year. Our school district is using the USDA’s option to extend the Seamless Summer Feeding Program. No families are required to complete a Free and Reduced Meal Application this year. Our MySchoolBucks mobile application is still available for families to manage their child’s school meal account if you want to add funds for them to purchase a second meal, second servings, or to purchase non-menu a-la-carte items.
Virtual Learning Program families with students in grades K-12, may pre-order school meals for the week for pick up each Monday morning between 9 a.m. -9:30 a.m., at their zoned elementary school.
Visit the school district’s, any school’s or the Virtual program’s websites for the online order form. Order by 6 pm on Aug. 1, for meals the first week of school. Families may preorder by each Thursday evening thereafter.

Remember our Return-to-School Safety Plan for the mitigation of illness/infection.
