East Georgia State College (EGSC) invites students and the public to a fun-filled Financial Aid Day event on August 1, 2024, featuring campus tours, food, and assistance with FAFSA applications.

A part of Ogeechee Tech since 2019, Rikard's leadership has played an important role in creating a supportive and dynamic campus environment. She looks forward to continuing to contribute to the success of the student population and the local workforce.

The 5th annual "Back the Teacher Bash" will take place July 20th at the Outreach Center. Teachers are encouraged to come by and stock up on school supplies while enjoying some food and music.

Seven new members have recently joined Georgia Southern University’s Alumni Association Board of Directors, bringing diverse backgrounds and experiences to further enhance the university’s alumni network and support its mission.

In a significant move to bolster local education, the Bulloch County Commissioners have approved up to $13 million in bonds for the construction of a new Statesboro STEAM Academy. This decision was made during their regular bi-monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

All students in the system will continue to receive free breakfast, but six additional schools have qualified for free lunch for all students, regardless of family income and with no application process, under the Community Eligibility Provision.

This event aims to support local students by providing essential school supplies such as backpacks, notebooks, and pencils at no cost.

Kindergarten here they come! Congratulations to the graduates of Kid's World Learning Center's five-week Summer Transition Program. The children, and their parents, received vital support as they prepare for the fall.
