Dr. FlorAnne Cruz's dreams come true with purchase of Southern Chiropractic & Wellness Center

Through setting big goals, hard work and perseverance, Statesboro Native Dr. FlorAnne Cruz has proven that dreams do come true. Dr. Cruz's purchase of Southern Chiropractic & Wellness Center from Dr. Amy Kitching saw the fulfillment of her dream of owning a wellness center in the community she grew up in come true.

Statesboro native Dr. FlorAnne Cruz has completed a dream of hers in purchasing, along with her husband Corey, Southern Chiropractic & Wellness Center from Dr. Amy Kitching and her husband Jeff Klare.  Corey, a veteran, has joined the practice in an administrative role as well.

Dr. Amy Kitching continues to practice in a more limited role through the transition of ownership.

Dr. Cruz grew up in Bulloch County, attended Southeast Bulloch, graduated from Georgia Southern with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. After Georgia Southern, she went on to earn her doctorate at Palmer Chiropractic College in Florida.

Dr. Cruz always dreamed of coming back home to help her friends and neighbors live a more healthy lifestyle.  She joined Southern Chiropractic & Wellness Center because she loved the way Dr. Amy Kitching had expanded her practice to focus on the total health of her patients.  Dr. Cruz knew this is the type of practice she would like to own one day.

Nothing thrills Dr. Cruz more than helping guide patients through healthy alternatives that can make their lives more fulfilling.  As a Board Certified Doctor of Chiropractic she focuses on restoring the body to health naturally through working with the spine, extremities, biomechanics, and nervous system. She enjoys educating others on the importance of a wellness lifestyle, which includes a balanced nervous system, proper diet, exercise, stretching, and a healthy mental attitude. Her mission is to bring together all aspects of healthcare in order to maximize her patient's results.

Southern Chiropractic & Wellness Center helps people of all ages

"Everything starts with the spine. We work with babies as young as five weeks old, and we can help the elderly. Our oldest patient is 92 years old, " stated Dr. FlorAnne Cruz. "We can help car accident victims recover, and have a lot of patients who are Veterans, " she continued. "Our staff can help if someone is autistic, suffering from asthma and allergies, childhood ailments, pregnant women, sports injuries, fibromyalgia, migraines, pinched nerves and more."

Dr. FlorAnne Cruz said, "At Southern Chiropractic & Wellness Center, we use state-of-the-art techniques, approaches, and equipment to help our patients. We will develop a customized treatment plan for each individual that may include chiropractic care and massage therapy.
