Head women's basketball coach Anita Howard and the Georgia Southern women's basketball staff will be hosting a free kids basketball clinic on Saturday, January 27, following the Eagles' Sun Belt contest against Marshall.
The clinic will take place 30 minutes following the end of the game on the Hanner Fieldhouse court. The one-hour clinic will include fun drills for girls ages 5-14 (participants may not be in high school).
While the event is free, parents are strongly encouraged to register their kids online at www.gseagles.com/wbbclinic.
This game will be the Local Heroes Day to celebrate and thank all the local heroes in the Statesboro community.
