Zella Mae "Betty" Sprague

January 10, 1938 ~ March 12, 2023 (age 85)

Mrs. Zella Mae “Betty” Sprague, age 85, passed away Sunday at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. She was a longtime resident of Bulloch County and worked for JP Stevens, Big Star, and Piggly Wiggly where she worked in the bakery for more than thirty years. Mrs. Sprague enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tremper John Sprague, Jr., her daughter, Jerri Ann Sprague, and her son, Tremper John Sprague, III.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Jerri (Hollis) Howell of Guyton; her grandson, Justin (Christina) Sprague of Baldwinville, New York; three great grandchildren, Lillian Howell, Sophia Howell, and Lillianna Sprague; and her brother, Woody Royal.

Graveside services and burial will be Wednesday March 15th at 3:00 PM at Lower Lotts Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Lee Chambers officiating.
