Vera Powell Bazemore, age 80, passed away in Savannah, GA on May 9, 2025.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Ruth Powell. Vera is survived by her children, Robert Bazemore and wife Lauren and Shannon Sowell and husband Bryan.
Grandmother to Seth and Emily Bazemore, Aidan Sowell and Jacob, Andrew, and Dylan Dixon. She leaves behind a sister, Barbara Mock (Glenn, Deceased).
Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church Sylvania, 214 S Main St. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 between the hours of 1 - 3.
Funeral Services will be held immediately following the visitation at 3:00 pm with Reverend Sean Vickers presiding.
Interment will be at the Screven Cemetery on East Ogeechee Street.
