Mr. Treshman James Fries, 55, passed away at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center on December 28, 2022.
Treshman was born in 1967 at the Screven County Hospital to Harrell and Geneva Fries. His first love was repairing transmissions and was very handy with anything to do with a car.
He had worked at the Warner Robins Air Force Base as a civilian contractor primarily in electronics manufacturing. He had formerly attended the First Christian Church of Sylvania.
He is survived by his children, Russell James Fries and Alicia Renae Fries, both of Hartwell, GA, his parents, Harrell and Geneva Fries of Sylvania, GA, and a brother, Ken Fries.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 31, at 4:00pm at the Joiner Anderson Funeral Home Screven Chapel with Rev. George Pevey and Rev. Jay Akin officiating. The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, 306 Frontage Road, Sylvania, GA 30467.
