June 1, 1955 - June 5, 2025
Mr. Thomas Gary Hook, age 70, joined his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at his residence in Statesboro, Georgia. Tom was born in Bulloch County on June 1st 1955. He graduated from Statesboro High School and attended Georgia Southern University. He went on to work at the family business, Robbins Packing Company, followed by a career in real estate investments. He enjoyed fishing in the Ogeechee River, spending time with his sons and grandchild, and being a member at Forest Heights Country Club. He also enjoyed the companionship of his two dogs, Bailey and Wilson. Tom was a member of First Baptist Church Statesboro and had a strong faith in the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis “Bo” Hook and Emily Robbins Hook, as well as his brother Bill Hook. He is survived by his two sons, Will Hook and Colby (Shelby) Hook, and granddaughter Hattie Hook; his brother, Jeff Hook and sister, Jane Holmes; as well as nieces Lauren Hook Fillmore and Emmie Holmes, and nephew Brewer Holmes.
The family will be holding a private ceremony and burial at Eastside Cemetery.
