Sarah Elmgren of Brooklet, GA passed away August 31, 2023 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. She was a wonderful loving mother and wife. When she found Phillip , her husband, she found her soul mate. Together they enjoyed travel. They enjoyed having fun at the beach and the river. Sarah was a very sociable person. She was loved by her family and friends. Sarah was a beloved server in several restaurants in the Pooler area, most recently being Sam Snead's. She was preceded in death by her father , Gerald D. Brown ; her grandparents, Joseph and Edith Witty , Catherine and Abe Brown.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Elmgren; her sons; Cameron Lewis, David Elmgren and Lucas Elmgren; her mother Sandra Brown Yarger (Roy); her sister in laws, Jennifer " Becky" Rodgers, Beverly ( Hank) Kuter, Aundria Elmgren; her best friend, Melanie Boone; numerous other close friends; her Godparents, Joyce Reyes and Robert Reyngoudt; many nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives in New Jersey and Georgia.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday September 9,2023, in the Chapel of Deal Funeral Directors at 11am, afterwards there will be a small reception at the funeral home.
A Celebration of her life will follow at the home of Becky Rodgers at 503 Turkey Crossing Court, Ellabell, GA.
Deal Funeral Directors of Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.
