September 14, 1952 - April 22, 2025
Ronald Parrish, born on September 14th, 1952, in Metter, GA, to the late Lester Toya Parrish Jr. and Ruby Lee Andrew Parrish, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025.
Ronald's early education began at Lillian Street in Candler County, Georgia, and he completed his secondary education at Metter High School, where he was an active member of the high school band.
A proud veteran, Ronald served in the United States Air Force. Following his service, he became a master chef and enjoyed a fulfilling career in the culinary arts until his retirement.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Parrish a sister, and a brother.
Known for his love of soul music, Ronald had a passion for life and enjoyed sharing his talents and personality with those around him. He was a faithful attended Miracle Temple Grace Deliverance Church until his health began to fail.
Ronald leaves behind three sons: Kevin Parrish of Metter, GA, Jauron Parrish, and Jarrett Parrish of Fort Wentworth, Texas. He is also survived by his stepdaughter, Jessica McCulloch, and stepson, Sean McCulloch, as well as his beloved grandchildren: Tamara Parrish, Tabitha Parrish, Tiara Parrish, Saniya Parrish, Jacayden Barnes, and Autumn Roberson.
He is also survived by his siblings: Sondrell F. Rouse (Spurgeon), Lester “Cowboy” Parrish, Gloria Parrish, Wanda Parrish, Reginald Parrish (Christy), Felicia Stewart, and Wynne Parrish. Special niece and nephews: Laurinda Parrish, Ciara Parrish, Victor Parrish, and Spurgeon Rouse Jr. Ronald will also be greatly missed by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Though he is no longer with us, Ronald’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed.
Viewing will be held from 4 P.M.to 7 P.M. Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the funeral home
The funeral service for Mr. Ronald Parrish, will be held at 2 P.M., Wednesday, April 30, 2025, in the Ben Samuel Hill memorial of Hill's Mortuary, Inc. with the Rev. Maurice Hill, officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah "Fistrap" Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
