Robin Renee Lee Knight, of Brooklet, 65, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Ogeechee area Hospice in Statesboro, surrounded by her loving family.
Robin was born in Savannah, Ga and was the daughter of Roy and Ouida Lee. Robin was retired from the Bulloch County Board of Education after twenty-two years. Mrs. Knight was a 1976 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School. She loved to travel to the Great Smokey Mountains and taking cruises with her family and friends. You would always see her in her flip flops regardless of the weather. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. In addition to her parents Robin was preceded in death by three brothers; Wendell Lee, Rodney Lee and Ronny Lee; a nephew, Josh Lee; and a great niece, Lexi Phillips (Lou Lou).
Surviving are her husband of forty seven years, Randy Knight of Brooklet; two sons, Jason (Crystal) Knight and Jack (Brooke) Knight all of Brooklet; her grandchildren, Jase Knight, McKenzie Knight, Shaylee Knight, Anna Kay Thigpen, Rhett Knight, Reigns Knight and Madison Armstrong all of Brooklet; two sisters-in-law, Glenda Lee and Rhonda Armstrong; two brothers-in-law, Alan Knight (Pam) and Jimmy Knight (Diane); several nieces and nephews, a special niece like a daughter, Jennifer Craun.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 11 o’clock in the morning at Brooklet United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, J.C. Lewis Cancer Society or Brooklet United Methodist Church Youth and Children Programs in her memory.
