Mr. Robert Chavers, age 68, entered rest, Thursday, May 2, 2024.
The Bulloch County native was the son of the late Raiford Deloach, Sr., and Era Chavers Harrison and received his formal education in the Candler County School System.
Mr. Chavers was a professional auto and body painter for over forty years. He loved to sing, watch sports, and live life to the fullest.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Cedric Chavers, a sister, Geraldine Deloach, a brother Raiford James Deloach.
Those left to forever cherish his memories are: his children, Robert Chavers, Jr.-Benton (Shanta), Sylvania, GA, Nakeia Chavers-Benton, and Tameka Chavers, both of Statesboro, GA, Roberta Chavers, Metter, GA, Ivey Chavers and Treneshia Chavers, both of Statesboro, GA; his brothers, Vance (Loetta) Harrison, Jr., Christopher (Tina) Deloach, both of Statesboro, GA, Keith Harrison (Monique), Atlanta, GA, Daniel Harrison (Tosha), NC, Jason Harrison, Atlanta, GA, Ronald Deloach, Clarkston, GA, Ray Deloach, Raiford Deloach, Jr., (Veronica) both of Charleston, SC, and Erik Deloach (Niki) Jonesboro, GA; his sisters, Lydia Harrison, Linda Harrison, Angela Harrison, Stephanie Harrison, and Precious Harrison, all of Atlanta, GA, Debra Deloach-Jones, Statesboro, GA, Avia Harris, Ricon, GA, Civis Williams (Isiah), Conyers, GA, Faron Deloach, Lawrenceville, GA, Dr. Marie Norman, Decatur, GA, and Dorothy Oglesby (Kerri), Statesboro, GA; 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing for Mr. Chavers will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 4 P.M. to 7 P.m., at Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
The funeral service for Mr. Robert Chavers will be held, 1 P.M., Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Agape Worship Center with the Elder Donald Chavers, officiating. Burial will follow in the Hope Community Baptist Church Cemetery.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
