
Mrs. Patsy Beasley Metts of Statesboro, died Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the Candler County Hospital under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.
Patsy was born August 30, 1948 in Statesboro. The Bulloch County native married June 8th, 1970 to the late Ike Metts. Together they owned Mett’s Paint and Body Shop.
She retired in 1996 to spend time as a homemaker and to enjoy fishing and spending time with her family, grandchildren and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patsy was a member of the Nevils Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, Herman Beasley and Kitty Mae Mikell Beasley, her brother W. H. Beasley and her sister Billie Hagan.
Patsy is survived by her daughter Tara Brack (Earl), her grandchildren Brittany Stewart (Robbie), Austin Brack (Keri), great grandchildren Audrey Stewart and Ryder Stewart, her sister Margie Williams, a lifelong best friend Glenda Hewitt and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 27, from 10:00 am till 11:00 am followed by a service at 11:00 in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro, officiated by Pastor Jason Mallard and Pastor Thomas Hendrix assisting.
Interment will be at the Beasley Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Williams, Steve Williams, Randy Hagan, Steven Woodcock, Josh Beasley and Tracy Mixon.
