October 31, 1945  -  July 31, 2025

Ola Mae Bragg passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 31, 2025.

Born on October 31,1945 in Clyo, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Jack and Elizabeth Pevey.

Ola Mae was devoted to her deep faith in God that guided her throughout her life. She was baptized into the Christian faith and remained true in her spiritual walk, touching the lives of many with loving kindness, a woman after God’s own heart.

She was very involved with helping pioneer the Dayspring Walk to Emmaus at Tattnall County Campground. Over the years, she served faithfully in many roles always with a servant's heart of love and encouragement.

Ola Mae was a founding member of the Liberty Christian Fellowship Church in Guyton, Georgia. She operated Open Door Christian Bookstore in Springfield, Georgia for several years, where she welcomed customers with encouragement, prayer, and friendship. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, “granny” and “great- granny”.

Ola Mae was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Clifford Bragg; brothers Lavone Pevey, Roger Pevey, and Harvey Pevey and in-laws Emory and Louise Bragg and brother-in-law  Dave Bragg.

She is survived by her children; daughter Virginia Martin (Tim); sons Kenny Deloach (Tammy) and Michael Bragg (Leah); grandchildren DeAnna Keene (John), Jordan Martin (Ginny), Justin Deloach (Sarah), Jessie Deloach (Garrett), Jenny Wray (Walt), Kai and Gabriel Bragg, Merry Bentley and Megan Dozier. Sisters: Helen Warren, Jackie Proctor, Earl Deen Cooksey, and Marguerite Hatchel. Brothers: Alan, Randy, Terrell, and Michael Pevey. Several nieces and nephews, her beloved dogs Bandit and Chloe and 11 great grandchildren.

Our family extends our deepest gratitude to Tammy Lee, Janell Bowen and the staff of Ogeechee Area Hospice for the care, compassion, and kindness they showed our mother. Their support and devotion brought comfort and dignity, and we will be forever thankful.

Well done my good and faithful servant. -Matt. 25:23
