Mason Lane Craven, age 2, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Memorial University Health Center in Savannah. Mason was born in Statesboro on September 29, 2020. He loved riding tractors, spending time at a family friend’s farm, and spending time outdoors. Mason loved his toys and splashing in mud puddles. Although his life was short, Mason’s legacy will continue. As an organ donor, he was able to give life to others in need.
Mason is survived by his mother, Amanda Craven (Chris Pressler); an older brother, Peyton Sheffield; an aunt, April Craven (Uncle Joseph Burnsed); cousins, Joseph & Charles Craven; his Granny, Chris Craven; his Big-Papa, Danny Craven; his Little-Papa, Charles Craven; and very special friends, Jimmy & Beverly Lanier.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 26th in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jody Bryant officiating.
