Mrs. Lisa Machelle Smith, age 58, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Emory Saint Joseph Hospital in Atlanta, GA, after an extended illness.

Lisa was a Bulloch County native and was employed with Pineland Mental Health, as a support Tech until her health failed years ago. She was also a member of True Life Ministries of Bulloch County.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Smith, Statesboro, GA; children, Kendra (Timothy) Moore, Statesboro, GA, Shantell (James) Wilson, Duluth, GA, Courtney (Adam) Murphy and Dartavius Smith, Statesboro, GA; sisters, Yvonne Wilkerson, Kathy Wilkerson and Debra Smart all of Statesboro, GA, Cynthia (Jeffrey) O’Neal, Atlanta, GA and Sirberina (Cottrel) Jiles, Palm Bay, FL; brothers, Herbert Lanier, Larry Lanier, Pastor Ronald (Carolyn) Wilkerson, Ricky Lanier, Donnie Lovett, Alton Lovett, all of Statesboro, GA. A host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home Chapel, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, GA 30458.

Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11:00a.m. at Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 7829 GA-24, Statesboro, GA 30461.

Interment will be at the Eastside Cemetery, 1502 Northside Drive, Statesboro, GA 30458.

We will adhere to CDC guidelines.
