Matthew H. Lovett & Son's Funeral Home announces the passing of Mr. Larry Young, age 64, of Spokane, WA. Larry was a native of Statesboro but had resided in Spokane for many years. He was born on August 22, 1959, in Statesboro, Georgia, and entered into eternal rest on February 22, 2024, at the Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, Washington.
Larry was the son of the late George Young and Elizabeth Faye Drummer. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, the late Charlie and Tena Drummer.
Larry was a loving brother and uncle. He leaves to cherish his memories, two sisters, Wanda Faye Young of Statesboro, GA and Michelle Drummer of Orlando, FL; eight brothers, Bernal Drummer and Bobby Joe Young both of Statesboro, GA; Timothy Drummer of Kansas City, MO; Stefon Young of Perry, GA; Charlie Drummer, Calvin Young, Gerodney Brunner, Rossie Drummer all of Orlando, FL; one uncle, Roma Drummer of Register, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later.
