Age 70, died Monday, March 20, 2023 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. He was born and raised in Miami, Florida. In 1972, he moved to Broward County and lived until relocating to Bulloch County in 2003. In 1978, Larry owned and operated Harrison Flooring until retiring in 2021. If he wasn’t spending time with his family, you could find him hunting, fishing or participating in truck and tractor pulls. He is preceded in death by his parents, James B. and Wera Reeves Harrison.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Yolanda Siler Harrison; his children, James Harrison (April) and Christina Harrison; grandchildren Autumn and Michael Harrison; a brother and sister, Chris Harrison (Tami) and Linda Woodcock (Rickey); and his adopted son, Gibson “Gibby” Waters.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 11:00am in the chapel of Joiner Anderson Funeral Home with Pastor Jody Bryant officiating.
