Ms. Kimberly Cone, transitioned from this earthly home, to be with the Lord, on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at St. Francis Emory Healthcare Hospital, Columbus, Georgia after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Bulloch County where she received her formal education graduating from Statesboro High School in 1996. Kim later attended Ogeechee Technical College where she graduated in 2002, with a degree in practical nursing. She was a member of St. Mary's Missionary Baptist Church.
Kimberly is survived by her loving and dedicated parents, Marcia (Dwayne) Hudson, her biological father, Ronnie Jones, and step-father Rudolph Johnson (Patricia) Johnson all of Statesboro, Georgia; her children, Kimmeria King (Joseph Geiger), Kechelle Cone and Shelton King, Jr. all of Statesboro, GA; loving siblings, Brendia Johnson (Clifton Banfield), Brittany Johnson and Randolph Johnson, Jr. all of Statesboro, Shaneka Ann Hunter, Japan and LaRonda Hunter, Claxton, GA; loving grandchildren Hayden Douglas, Taylan Mills, McKenleigh Cooper and Keagan Geiger all of Statesboro and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Agape Worship Center with the pastor, Elder Donald Chavers, Jr., eulogist and Reverend Samuel Watkins, presiding. There will be no viewing after the eulogy. Interment will be in Eastside Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
