Kathy Williams Scheider, age 68, passed away on Friday, July 18th 2025 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. She was born in Statesboro, GA on May 6th 1957 to the late Carl V. Williams and Francis Hodges Williams. Kathy was a military wife, mother, a volunteer for the Red Cross, and a dedicated member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She also was an accomplished pianist and served at her church for many years.
Kathy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William Christopher Scheider and Tina Scheider, her grandchildren, Brandon Michael Scheider and Oakley Todd Scheider, as well as her sister Carl Mike Williams.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday July 20th from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Portal. The funeral will follow at 3:00pm with Pastor Thomas Hendrix Officiating.
Interment will be at Rocky Ford Cemetery.
