Joyce Cobb Hadaway, age 80, passed away Tuesday at The Griffin House in Claxton, Ga. She was born in Savannah, Ga. and lived in Nevils for the last twenty five years. Mrs. Hadaway was a homemaker for many years and loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her beloved dachshunds. She enjoyed supporting her husband for many years as he coached numerous sports teams. Mrs. Hadaway was preceded in death by her husband of fifty three years, Jerald Hadaway and her sister, Carolyn Winter.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Hadaway (Heather Deterra) of Brooklet, Ga. and Stephen C. Hadaway of Claxton, Ga.; her grandchildren, Christian Hadaway and Joshua Hadaway; and two great grandchildren.
