Mrs. Joyce Bragg McMillan, 78, passed away at her residence in Sylvania, GA, surrounded by her loving children while under the care of Regency Hospice.
The daughter of the late Willie “Sam” David and Doris Grace Freeman Bragg, she was born in Chatham County and reared in Screven County. Joyce was a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harry McMillan, Jr., and daughter, Lynn Marie Williams.
She is survived by her children, Edward David Dickerson of Sylvania, and Nancy R. Smith of Summerville, SC, sisters, Ellen Waters and Sandra Dixon, both of Sylvania, a brother, David Bragg, Jr. of Augusta, a niece, Angie Bragg Howard, grandchildren, Tabatha Crawford of Sylvania and Cory Sink of Augusta, six great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Honey Bee.
At this time no services are planned, though the family will receive friends at Mrs. Joyce’s home, at 208 Buck Rd., Sylvania, GA 30467.
In lieu of flowers Mrs. Joyce asked that anyone who wishes to plant a tree in her memory.
