Mr. Jerry Jenkins 74, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 18, 2024. He was born January 17, 1950, in Statesboro to the parents of the (late) Charles “CL” Jenkins and Ernestine Wooten Jenkins. He received his early education in the local schools of Bulloch County. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, and a Professional Brick Mason for over thirty years until his retirement.
Surviving are: Lyani Presley, Hagan Singleton, Jericho Singleton; Carol Jean Thomas, Sarah Ann Hill (Lamiles), Arva Mincey (James), Carrie Jenkins; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Saturday, August 17, 2024, Harmony Baptist Church, 98 Harmony Church Road, Statesboro, GA 30458. Reverend Troy Grubbs, pastor will officiate.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The body will lie Instate 11:00 am Saturday until the hour of funeral. No viewing during funeral rites.
