August 22, 1974 - December 10, 2023 - Jennifer LeeAnn Alexander (Morris), 49, of West Burlington, IA, passed away on December 10, 2023.
Jennifer was a dedicated mother to her three children and a loving Nana to her four grandchildren. She was also a beloved sister to her two brothers and a cherished daughter to her mother. She had a family and friends who adored her and will miss her deeply. She had a contagious smile, a bright spirit, and a great sense of humor. She could walk into a room and change the mood with her infectious energy, and she loved to laugh and make others laugh along with her. A country girl full of spirit and as strongheaded as they come, Jen loved to fish, hunt, and camp.
Jennifer battled cervical cancer and suffered from the side effects of her treatment for months. Despite her struggles, she remained strong, determined, and optimistic. Unfortunately, after some major medical procedures, her body was just unable to recover.
Jennifer's passing has left a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She was a shining example of love, kindness, and resilience, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her. We love you to the moon, stars, and Planets Nana. Rest In Peace Jen.
She is preceded in her death by her father, Gerald Wayne Morris, Sr.
She is survived by her mother, Pam Morris; brothers, Gerald Wayne Morris, Jr., and family and Jeremy Morris and family; children, Kaily Bennett and Duston Stafford, Megan Bobbitt and Stephen Ellis, and Dillon Bobbitt; grandchildren, Sadie Morris, Kenadie Bennett, Kaiden Ellis, and Oaklynn Ellis.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 4:00 PM at the Sylvania First Methodist Church with Rev. Dorsia Atkinson officiating.
Interment will be private.
