Mr. Jack Doyle, 78, of Sylvania, GA passed away Thursday evening at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA.
Jack was born on October 28, 1944, to the late Bessie Arrington and Corrie Doyle. In high school he was a member of the track team. After graduating high school, he obtained a bachelor’s degree. It was at this time he was called to be a Baptist pastor. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Sylvania, GA. He liked to listen to gospel and country music. He loved worshipping Jesus and attending church most of all. He had friends all over. He lived in Florida and Alabama most of his life. However, he recently relocated to Sylvania to be near his sister.
He is survived by his sister, Colleen Knight, of Sylvania, as well as many nieces.
He is preceded in death by Carl Doyle, Buddy Doyle, Elizabeth Doyle, and Betty Mock.
A memorial service will be held at Memorial Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 7:00 PM with Rev. Bill Kent officiating.
