Mrs. Ida Bell Wigfall, age 76, entered rest, early Tuesday morning, April 23, 2024, at her residence.

She was born March 15, 1948, in Emanuel County, Georgia, to the late Ernest Cross and Daisy Bell Littles. She received her formal education in St Petersburg, Florida.

Mrs. Wigfall continued her education by attending the Ogeechee Technical Institute. She was employed for many years by Pulaski Nursing Home and Ramada Inn.

Ida had a special love for her entire family. Her children, grandchildren and family meant the world to her. Some of her hobbies included sewing, crossword puzzles and attending to her flowers.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Tina Cross, brothers, John Willie C (Margo) Littles and Alphonzo Cross, her grandmother, Ollie Mae (John) Marshall, great grandmother, Mamie (Cooter) Marshall, a grandson, Travis Cross, a son, Lester Littles, and a special companion, John L. Littles.  

Those who will forever cherish her memories are, her spouse, Thomas Wigfall, Statesboro, GA; her children, Tony (Paula) Cross, Tabatha (Peter Stewart, Timothy Wigfall (Felicia Johnson), Tracy Wigfall, Tanesha (Eliza) Boyd, Tawana Wigfall (Brodrick Grier) and Wesley Littles, all of Statesboro, GA; her sister, Vonnie Mae Fair, Glenville, GA; a brother, Larry Littles, Claxton, GA; aunts, Annie Grace Lovett and Ruby Moffett, both of Statesboro, GA; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

A viewing for Mrs. Wigfall will be held on Saturday evening, April 27, 2024, at Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.

The funeral service for Mrs. Ida B. Wigfall, will be held, 2 P.M., Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the Ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill’s Mortuary, Inc. with the Rev. Robert Marshall, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
