Emmitt Marvin Lestinger, 87, of Sylvania, GA passed Friday evening, March 31, 2023 at the Memorial Health University.
Emmit was born in Statesboro, GA to the Dorey Mark and Annie Mae Hagan Lestinger. Throughout his life he was employed as an exterminator and construction worker. He enjoyed mowing his lawn and visiting with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Lorene NeSmith Lestinger.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Larry Rosier; a son, Terry Lestinger, grandchildren, Paul Rosier, Heather Rosier; great-grandchildren, Leo Joyner, Tyler Joyner, and Zachary Joyner; brother and sister-in-law, Doy and Janie Lestinger; and a nephew and niece, Stevie and Cindy Lestinger.
A memorial service will be announced next week.
Interment will be private.
