Mrs. Earlene Hobbs Sharpe-Johnson, age 78 pass from labor to reward on Friday morning, June 30, 2023 at her residence. She was a native of Candler County, but spent most of her adult life in Bulloch County, a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and a former employee of Ogeechee Technical College.
She is survived by two sons, Ricky Mikell, Jr, Augusta, GA and Dwight Sharpe, Atlanta, GA; two daughters, Veronica Ricketts (Dwight), Belle Glade, FL and Stefferdy Demiris (Chive), Atlanta, GA; one sister, Carolyn Lee, Register, GA and a host of grands and great grands, nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with the pastor Reverend Daniel Woodson, eulogist and Reverend Germaine Williams, presiding. Burial will be in New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Public viewing will be Friday, July 7, 2023, from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at the funeral home and from 6:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church.
