Mrs. Dottie Mikell Rainey, age 74 transitioned from her earthly home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Brown's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. She was a native of Bulloch County where she attended William James High School. She spent most of her adult life in New York before returning to Statesboro in 2020.
Shae is survived by four sisters Juanita Linnen, Geraldine Spaulding and Vennie Ray Houston (David) all of Brooklyn, NY, Lelliet Pryor, Statesboro and Yvonne Pryor, Savannah, GA; one brother, Terry Pryor, Statesboro; a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Rainey are in complete and will be announced later.
