It is with heavy hearts, the family of Diane Brannon Beasley, age 60, shares that on the morning of October 3, 2022, after an extended illness, Diane went home to be with the Lord. She was the daughter of the late Joe Bill Brannon and Carol Helmly and Stepmother, Sue Brannon.
Diane had a huge heart and a selfless nature—always trying to find ways to give and to do kind things for others. She was a 2008 Dean Day Smith recipient.
For many years she was employed with Bulloch County School System and also with Georgia Eye and My Eye Dr.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Walter Ray Beasley, and two children she loved beyond measure, Nicole Beasley and Brandon (Courtney) Beasley. She is also survived by her siblings, Jodi Brannon (Murphy), Joe Bill Brannon, Jr. (Lisa), Matthew Helmly (Melissa) and Kristen Helmly (Henry); 4 grandchildren, Justin Newsome, Madison Newsome, Hunter Beasley and Blakely Hodges; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Deal Funeral Directors. The funeral service will be Friday, October 7 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Deal Funeral Directors with Elder Randy Waters and Howard Rushing officiating. Interment will follow the service at Middleground Primitive Baptist Church.
