Mrs. Denise LaShelle Sello, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away peacefully on June 2, 2023, at her residence at the age of 53. She attended the public schools of Bulloch County, was a member of Johnson Grove Missionary Baptist Church and worked in food service and caregiving.
She is survived by her husband of eighteen years, Harold Sello, Statesboro; two daughters, LaKendra (Jason) Lambert, Clarkston, GA and Ashley Haynes, Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Kali, Alex, Joshua, Cameron and Landon; her mother, Eloise Wooten-Wiggins, Clarkston, GA; sisters, Tamyra (Charles) Jackson, Stonecrest, GA, Latoria (Shondai) Harris, McDonough, GA, Shannon (Stelven) Bell, Columbus, GA, Raquel (Garfield) Joyce, Austell, GA and Yoko (Jermaine) Parker, Savannah, GA; and Mitchell (Cecila) Taylor, Atlanta, GA; god-siblings, Minnie Jewel Taylor, Stanley Daughtry and Joe Daughtry all of Sarasota, FL; godsons, Traveyon Jamon Burns and Joseph Jushawn Burns both of Statesboro; close cousins, Ricky Joe Harden, James Davis, Latasha Davis Burns and Chanta Davis all of Statesboro; special friend Dennie Scott, Atlanta, GA and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Sello will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2:30 p.m.at Johnson Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Donald Chavers, Jr, Eulogist. The Reverend Maurice HiIl is the pastor. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
A public viewing will be held on Friday from 1:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
