November 28, 1965 - December 25, 2023 - Mrs. Christine Fail Owens, age 58, died on Monday, December 25, 2023 at her residence.
The Metter, GA native lived for most of her life in Bulloch County. Christine worked for Robbins Packing Company, Grinnell Corporation and retired after 12 years from Pizza Hut.
She was preceded in death by her parents Curtis Dixon and Erma Jean Bryant Dixon; her husband Jefferson Edward “Jeff” Owens, and a brother Tony Fail.
Surviving are three brothers Wayne Dixon of Statesboro, Charles Dixon, Jr. of New York and Mike Dixon of Statesboro; a sister Melissa Frost of Metter, her Uncle John Fail of Portal, several cousins, nieces and nephews, and her cat Pinecone also survive.
A graveside memorial service and inurnment will be held on Friday December 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Payne’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
