Mrs. Annie Lois Smith, age 77, entered rest, Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at the East Georgia Medical Center.
She was born in Metter Georgia to the late James Albert and Lorine McCormick Weaver, Sr. and received her formal education in the public School System of Candler County.
Mrs. Annie Lois Smith was a former employee of Georgia Southern University.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Saint Weaver, Leartis Weaver, Thomas "TJ' Weaver, Sherman Weaver Quinton Weaver and James Albert Weaver, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories and legacy of love, her daughters, Minister Annette Waters and Minister Sharon (Minister Horace) Fuller; three sons, Kenny J. (Amanda) Smith, Gregory L. (Tracey) Smith and Leon C (Chyrell) Lee; her siblings, Willie James Weaver, Atlanta, GA, Alma Louise Smith and Mary (Ben) Ellis, all of Statesboro, GA; Gwendolyn Goodwill, Brunswick, GA and Booker T. Weaver, Zebulon, GA; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing for Mrs. Smith, will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hill’s Mortuary.
The funeral service for Mrs. Annie Lois Smith, will be held 11 a.m., Sunday, February 5, 2023, at the Chapel of Hill’s Mortuary, Inc with Minister Horace Fuller, officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside First Baptist Church Cemetery, Metter, Georgia.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
