Mr. Amos Lee Hodge, Jr., age 42, passed into rest, Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.  

The Bulloch County native attended the public school system of Bulloch County Georgia, where he participated in scholastic wrestling and football.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rosetta Butler and Amos Hodge, Sr., and several uncles and one aunt.  

He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Kameron Hodge, Atlanta, GA and Reagan Hodge, Statesboro, GA; his mother, Lilly Mander, Statesboro, GA, three brothers, Herman Scott, Les Hagins, Jr., and Avis Hodge; four sisters, Deidra Graves, Tiffany People, Dennie Scott, and Charity Hodge; uncles, Georgie Knight, Orange City, Fl; Sallie Knight, Robert (Doris) Hodge, and John Henry Knight, all of Statesboro, GA, James Butler, Richard Hobbs; an aunt, Gazetta Johnson, a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing for Mr. Hodge will be held, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.

The funeral service for Mr. Amos L. Hodge, Jr., will be held at 2 P.m., Sunday, July 14, 2024, at the Ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill’s Mortuary, Inc. with the Rev. Maurice Hill, officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside First Baptist Church Cemetery, Metter, Georgia.

Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
