Two people have died from injuries sustained in a single vehicle crash in Bulloch County on Friday, August 18 on I-16. A third has been hospitalized.
Bulloch County Deputy Coroner Chuck Francis identified the two as Jakil Tariq Miller, 21 and Antonio Wright, 20. Both have Pooler, GA addresses.
Bulloch County 911 dispatched Bulloch County Sheriff's Deputies, Bulloch County EMS and Fire and Georgia State Patrol to the crash which occurred at 9:55 PM near mile marker 131 on the westbound lane of I-16.

According to GSP Sergeant Robbie Scott at 9:55 pm Friday evening, a 2010 Audi sedan was traveling west on I-16 in Bulloch County near mile marker 131 when the driver lost control.
The vehicle traveled onto the north shoulder where it impacted several trees.
A front seat passenger and rear seat passenger were ejected.
One passenger succumbed to injuries at the scene.
The second passenger was transported by Bulloch County EMS to East Georgia Regional Medical Center (EGRMC). They succumbed to injuries after arriving at EGRMC.
The driver was transported by Bulloch County EMS to Memorial with non life-threatening injuries and is stable.
Excessive speed is suspected and the occupants were not restrained.
The accident investigation has been turned over to the GSP Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team (SCRT) for Troop F.
