Our Girls Rock Too hosts successful Explore Your Talents Conference

Our Girls Rock Too recently held its Explore Your Talents Conference to help young girls become motivated and empowered to chase after their dreams. Several workshops, speakers, and vendors were present to help motivate the young girls towards their passions and business goals.

Our Girls Rock Too recently hosted its "Explore Your Talents" Conference on Saturday, September 23rd, at the Statesboro Family YMCA. It featured breakfast & lunch, vendors, mini workshops, and a talent show for the young girls to display their skills.

Registration was open to all girls ages 6-18 years old.

"This is our 2nd time doing our 'Explore Your Talents' conference," OGR2 Founder Stacey Grant said. "We did 'Explore Your Talents: Part One' 10 years ago. Our main goal for this event is to have young girls exit this experience knowing more about what they want to do in life, with an increased drive to chase after their passions."

The young attendees gave presentations to the group after listening to speakers in their mini workshop sessions.

In addition, several successful women came to share their passions and stories of success.

"Here at our conference, we build the confidence of young girls by having successful women entrepreneurs and business owners come to share their stories of success," Grant added.
