Make your list and check it twice! Downtown Holiday Celebration is Friday night

Main Street Statesboro's Vyve Holiday Celebration is Friday, Dec. 1, from 5 to 8pm! The event will feature Chili Town, a golf cart parade, vendors, a hayride, and more.

Join Main Street Statesboro on Friday, Dec. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. in downtown Statesboro for the Vyve Holiday Celebration.

There will be a golf cart parade, more than 50 vendors, the Book Bus, live music, Chili Town, a hayride and photo booth with Santa Claus!

Admission to Chili Town is free and open to the public. Tickets will be available to purchase to vote in the people’s choice category for $1. All proceeds from ticket sales go to the Humane Society of Statesboro & Bulloch County

The Averitt Center for the Arts will be hosting a Celtic Christmas Concert with the Carroll Brown Band during the Holiday Celebration. The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. at the Emma Kelly Theater. Single tickets and family bundles are being sold on the Averitt Center’s website. Each ticket includes hot cocoa or coffee. The Averitt will also host their All Fired up! Holiday ceramics and pottery sale.

The Vyve Christmas Holiday Card winner will be riding in style with Santa Claus on the Old Fire Engine during the parade. The parade will include golf carts, four wheelers, classic cars and Santa.

Friends and family can enjoy the Mockingbird’s Turf free hayride in Synovus Bank parking lot. There will also be a build the gingerbread Tormenta FC Stadium contest close to the hayride.

Children can stop by the Book Bus and get a free book. Other fun activities include a Party Harbor bouncy and Boro the Hatchet  Axe throwing. Georgia Southern BiG will host their monthly Fix It Friday’s at the alley at 62 East Main.
