A mobile home in Bulloch County sustained heavy damage following a fire on Sunday morning, May 11, 2025.
At approximately 7:00 AM, Bulloch County 911 dispatched fire crews to the 2700 block of Cleary Road after receiving reports of a structure fire. The first engine on the scene reported visible smoke and requested additional resources, including more engines, a tanker trucks, and additional firefighters.
Firefighters launched an aggressive attack on the blaze and were able to black out the fire within minutes of arrival. Crews remained on the scene for several hours afterward to ensure all hot spots were fully extinguished and prevent rekindling.
The fire is believed to have originated in the kitchen area of the home.
Fortunately, two adults who were in the residence at the time of the fire were able to escape without suffering any injuries.
Bulloch County EMS also responded to the scene to provide assistance.
The American Red Cross was contacted to offer temporary support and assistance to the displaced residents.
The Bulloch County Fire Department will conduct a routine investigation to determine the exact cause and origin of the fire.
