Mo East Georgia Regional Medical Center (EGRMC) proudly recognizes its first-quarter Employees of the Month for 2025. These exceptional team members, Linda Curry (January), Sterling Irvin (February), and Tammy Lynn (March), have each gone above and beyond in their roles, demonstrating outstanding dedication to our mission of providing exceptional and compassionate care for “Every patient. Every time. Always.”
January 2025 – Linda Curry
For over 26 years, Linda Curry has served EGRMC as a Patient Care Technician in the MedSurg/Tele department, and she says she looks forward to another 26 years of service. Known for her kindness, compassion, and reliability, Linda is the kind of team member who is “always where she needs to be when you need her,” says Shannon Farlow, her director.

A colleague recently shared a powerful story that highlights Linda’s attentiveness:
“She noticed something was off with a patient while taking vital signs and acted quickly. I know it’s our job to provide the best care, and we don’t do it for recognition, but it feels good to acknowledge her efforts. Linda’s hard work does not go unnoticed. She’s one of the best techs, and I wouldn’t be able to do my job without her and the others.”
Linda’s 26 years of service are a testament to her commitment, and she continues to set a high standard of care and compassion for both patients and colleagues.
February 2025 – Sterling Irvin
Sterling Irvin, a vital member of the Supply Chain team, was recognized for his unmatched customer service and willingness to go above and beyond for not only his department but for the entire hospital.

“No matter the situation or circumstances, Sterling maintains a positive attitude and never complains,” said Clay Kirkland, Supply Chain Director. “He gets the job done thoroughly and effortlessly, always offering a friendly hand to anyone who needs help, whether or not it falls within his area of responsibility.”
Sterling’s work ethic and attitude perfectly reflect the heart of EGRMC’s mission. “I cannot think of a better candidate,” Kirkland added. “Sterling has earned this recognition and deserves it.”
March 2025 – Tammy Lynn
When it comes to leadership, dedication, and teamwork, Tammy Lynn is described as “the backbone of the department.” Tammy’s colleagues and leaders praise her for her unwavering commitment to patients, her team, and EGRMC.

“Tammy is a strong leader and a high performer,” said Jennifer Roberson, Director of Rehabilitation and Wound Care Services. “She brings smiles, laughter, and a dedication to ensuring our patients receive the very best care.”
Tammy is known for her deep understanding of her department and her efforts to ensure all disciplines work together to keep patients the top priority. She mentors graduate students from multiple universities, providing guidance that continues long after graduation. Her peers, providers, nursing staff, and leaders frequently recognize her for improving employee engagement, creating a positive work environment, and enhancing communication and continuity of care.
“Tammy is truly committed to excellence in all aspects of her work,” Roberson added. “She is a team player who brings her witty humor and positive attitude to every challenge, making her an invaluable part of our EGRMC family.”
“Linda, Sterling, and Tammy embody what it means to deliver quality and compassionate care for every patient, every time, always,” said Stephen Pennington, CEO of EGRMC. “They consistently go above and beyond, not only in their dedication to our patients but also in the way they uplift and support their colleagues. We are honored to celebrate their remarkable contributions to our hospital team.”
