Over the last two years, Bulloch County has experienced unprecedented growth, in part because of the significant industrial recruitment work by the Development Authority of Bulloch County (DABC).
With all of this success, they are looking forward to the future and are developing an Economic Development Strategic Plan which they have titled, "Forward Statesboro | Bulloch." The goal of this strategic plan is to help guide their efforts over the next five years. As part of this planning process, they are seeking public input.
“With the recent project locations in Bulloch County and the new Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America project in our region, the Authority Board agreed that it is a good time for us to consider the next phase of our work and the best ways for us to serve our community,” stated Benjy Thompson, the Authority’s CEO. “We are working with Boyette Strategic Advisors to gather data and determine the best path forward.”
