On Thursday, July 31, Dairy Queen of Statesboro is inviting the community to turn a sweet treat into life-saving support for local kids during this year’s Miracle Treat Day. For every Blizzard® Treat sold at the Statesboro DQ (2191 Northside Drive E), $1 or more will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, with proceeds locally benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Georgia in Augusta.
The effort is part of a nationwide fundraiser by American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ), which has raised over $185 million during its 41-year partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
"When you buy a Blizzard Treat from us on Miracle Treat Day, you’re not just treating your team to something sweet — you’re helping local kids receive life-saving care," the Statesboro DQ team shared in a community letter. “We’d love for you and your team to join us in making a difference.”
Pre-Orders and Local Delivery Available
To make it even easier to participate, Statesboro DQ is accepting pre-orders through Tuesday, July 29 for businesses, organizations, and groups who want to plan ahead. Pre-orders will be delivered directly within Bulloch County on July 31. To order, simply email, text, or mail the completed form to the restaurant by the deadline.
Why It Matters
Funds raised support critical services like pediatric medical equipment, treatments, family support, and child life services that help young patients and their families cope during difficult hospital stays. Locally, these dollars help children in need at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia, the state’s second-largest children’s hospital.
