One man is dead after a shooting on Monday night, September 19, 2023 in Bulloch County.
Bulloch County 911 dispatched Bulloch County Sheriff's Deputies, Bulloch County First Responders and Bulloch County EMS to a report of a shooting around 8:30 PM on Monday at the Oak Hill Mobile Home Park on Hwy. 301 North in Bulloch County.
According to a release from Sheriff Noel Brown, upon arrival Deputies located a deceased male with an apparent gunshot wound. Based on witness statements at the scene it appeared likely that gunshots were fired from Highway 301 North.
Deputies and Investigators remained on the scene overnight and during the morning collecting evidence and speaking with residents.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
