Bulloch County home destroyed by fire on Monday

Bulloch County Fire and Statesboro Fire Departments responded to a house fire on Monday. Statesboro Fire Chief, Tim Grams was the first on the scene on the scene and reported heavy smoke and fire coming from the home.

Bulloch County Fire and Statesboro Fire Departments responded to a house fire on Monday. Statesboro Fire Chief, Tim Grams was the first on the scene on the scene and reported heavy smoke and fire coming from the home. Chief Grams requested additional firefighters, engines and tankers to the scene.

Bulloch County 911 dispatched firefighters to the home located on Model T Lane off of Hwy. 46 at 10:33 AM on Monday, January 16, 2023.

The home was a total loss. The two residents of the home were not injured in the fire.

Statesboro Fire's CAFE unit responded to assist in refreshing firefighters and assisting homeowners.

Bulloch County's Red Cross Disaster Action Team is working to provide immediate, temporary assistance to the residents.

Bulloch County EMS and Bulloch County Sheriff's Deputies responded as a precaution.
