The Brooklet First Baptist Church is hosting Free Dental Treatment for non-insured patients in the Brooklet/Statesboro area from September 14th-16th.
"This is the first time that we are doing this free dental clinic, and we are excited for the opportunity to do so. We learned about this opportunity through the Georgia Baptist Convention, which has a mobile clinic available," a representative from the church said. "We are going to have 3 local dentists from our area come and volunteer their time for a good cause. The only thing that we ask of interested locals is that if they are currently taking blood thinners, we will not be able to see them at this time, for safety reasons. The free dental clinic will offer cleanings, fillings, and extractions."
"During our vacation bible school this summer, our children collected money for local mission projects," they continued. "And and a result, we decided that a free dental clinic would be our local mission project this year."
