On Monday, August 26, 2024, Statesboro Bulloch Chamber of Commerce Chair Michelle Davis welcomed the community and Maurice Jackson to Texas Roadhouse in Statesboro.
"It is always Chamber Blue Skys when we have a ribbon cutting, and today is no different. We have all looked forward to this moment for a long time," Davis said. "What is equally as exciting as Texas Roadhouse being here is the man they have running it, Maurice Jackson. We are so glad to have Maurice Jackson back home where he belongs leading this restaurant. Now let's cut the ribbon on this place so we can all enjoy those rolls."
Statesboro native and managing partner for the Statesboro Texas Roadhouse Maurice Jackson then cut the ribbon on one of the most anticipated restaurant openings in Statesboro in recent memory.
"Hello Statesboro! I am very excited to be back home to bring this product to you," Jackson said to the crowd. "I am looking forward to a long career here. Thank you all for coming out today and helping us open this store. We are looking forward to serving all of you!"
After the ribbon cutting, they unveiled Statesboro's newest GS Eagle, which is named for Maurice's mother, Virginia. The eagle will welcome guests facing Northside Drive in front of the restaurant.
The 8,900-square foot steakhouse will offer a menu featuring a wide range of options, including steaks, chicken, salads, hamburgers, and vegetables. Most menu selections will come with two side items, providing customers with a hearty and satisfying dining experience.
Begining today, the Texas Roadhouse in Statesboro will serve dinner only from Monday through Thursday, 3 to 10pm, and will be open for lunch and dinner on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11am to 10pm. The restaurant's opening hours are designed to accommodate a variety of dining preferences and schedules.
The restaurant is located at 24024 U.S. Highway 80 East in Statesboro, GA.
