Sully’s Steamers, a steamed bagel sandwich franchise, announced that they will be opening a franchise in Statesboro, Georgia. It will be located at 1098 Bermuda Run, Ste 7, in the Market District behind East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Matthew Tyson, a lifelong resident of Statesboro, will be the owner/operator.

Sully’s is excited to expand its footprint with its first franchise in Georgia. The anticipated opening is slated for early 2024. The Statesboro location will join eight current operational Sully’s and three other anticipated Sully’s.

Matthew and his family are extremely excited to bring Sully’s to the 'Boro.

“It was love at first bite when my wife Larsen and I bit into our first Sully’s Steamer," Tyson said. "We knew it was a perfect fit for Statesboro, Georgia Southern, and our entire Bulloch County community.”

He added, “Sully’s will be a place where our customers will always be treated with respect -- a place where they can relax, enjoy a tasty hot mess of a sandwich, get a mustard stain on their shirt without fretting, and for a few minutes, just chill. We will build on Sully’s existing culture by having a servant’s heart, being community centered, serving good food fast by nice people, and providing lots of napkins! Sounds like a recipe for success to us!”

“We are excited to come to Statesboro and immediately start engaging with the community here. When looking at prospective owners/operators, we look for people who are connected to their community and committed to helping it grow,” said Robert “Sully” Sullivan, the CEO and Founder of Sully’s Steamers. “We found Matthew to be the perfect fit for what we’re looking for. He’s engaged, committed, very involved in the community, and loves Statesboro. We can’t wait to see how this community responds to Sully’s and our steamed bagel sandwiches.”

“When we are looking for places to bring Sully's to, we are looking for places with a strong community, where people care about their city, support local business and support each other. Statesboro made this decision easy,” said Josh Riley, the Chief Operating Officer of Sully’s Steamers.

Sully’s Steamers is excited to bring its steamy goodness to the city of Statesboro and looks forward to serving the people of the area, as well as becoming an active member of the community.
