Over 670 seek Hyundai jobs at OTC career fair in Statesboro

Hundreds stood in line to learn more about jobs at Hyundai Metaplant America

More than 670 people showed up last week for Hyundai MetaPlant American's first job fair in Statesboro hosted by Ogeechee Technical College.  

Those who attended the career fair were able to speak to recruiters about the positions, on-job training, company benefits, and the ways their skills can transfer into a future career at the manufacturing facility.

"HMGMA is extremely pleased at the number of interested applicants who attended the career fair at Ogeechee Tech. We had more than 670 people attend and seek information on career opportunities. This is our first job fair in the Statesboro area," said Bianca Johnson, Assistant Manager of Public Relations for HMGMA. " We were overwhelmed at the response and interest. We are still following up on the applicants and scheduling interviews."
